Hi I was just looking looking at the Kew bears website noticed the change of jumper I played for Kew in 1984 & 1985 seasons Peter Hayes was coach in 84′( club stalwart) & Ray Sleath coached 85 season( ex V F L umpire). I have fond memories of the club some of the players l remember playing alongside with where the McColl brothers,Joey bustutti, Mic ryan & Lovey, Harro( a great goal kicker from half forward flank) if my memory serves me right Brett Burden played in 85 up country I think for Myrtleford he was a great player . I noticed that the club is having a past players organised for July, I am planning to be there on the day,it would great to catch and hopefully see some old faces, the last time l saw Kew play was in the 87 Grand final which unfortunetly they lost.
